VISIT THE VISTILLA GARDEN

An emblematic green space in La Latina
Located in the picturesque district of La Latina, the Jardin des Vistillas is a quiet, panoramic public park. It owes its name to the magnificent "views" (vistas) overlooking the Manzanares river valley and the Casa de Campo.

Why visit?
It's the perfect place to take a break while strolling through La Latina. Its tree-lined terraces, pathways and friendly atmosphere make it a popular spot for locals. The park also plays host to concerts and traditional festivals, such as those held to celebrate San Isidro, Madrid's patron saint.

A brief history and anecdotes
Originally, this was an open area where popular fiestas and impromptu bullfights were held. Anecdote: it was in this garden that some of the first San Isidro festivities were held, a tradition that continues to this day with music and dance performances.
