A modern, innovative park

Located in the 15ᵉ arrondissement, Parc André Citroën is one of the most contemporary green spaces in Paris. Built on the former site of the Citroën factories, it combines vast lawns, themed gardens and original installations.

  

Why visit?

The park is distinguished by its modern landscape architecture and open spaces, perfect for relaxation or outdoor activities. It is also famous for its captive balloon, offering a unique panoramic view of Paris.

  

A brief history and anecdotes

Inaugurated in 1992, the park was designed by a number of renowned architects and landscape architects. It pays tribute to André Citroën, founder of the car company, whose factories once occupied the site. The tethered balloon was installed in 1999, enabling air quality to be measured as well as offering tourist flights.
