VISIT THE CITÉ DES SCIENCES ET DE L'INDUSTRIE

An essential symbol of Paris

Located in the Parc de la Villette, north-east of Paris, the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie is Europe's largest science centre. It offers a fun and educational immersion in technology, space, energy and much more.

Why visit?

It's an ideal place for curious young and old alike. With its interactive exhibitions, workshops, simulators and experiments, the Cité brings science to life and makes it accessible. It's also an excellent choice for a family visit, whatever the weather.

A brief history and anecdotes

The Cité opened its doors in 1986 in a former abattoir that had been converted into a science centre.
